Warranty & Installation
A 30-day parts warranty for items sold as functional, with professional installation and verifiable records.
Updated 11 October 2026Our 30 day warranty
Justairbag provides a 30-day parts warranty, starting on the date of delivery, for items sold as functional.
The warranty covers faults in the supplied part arising during normal use following correct installation. Contact us within this period if a fault becomes apparent.
Following assessment, we will provide a suitable replacement or refund for a covered claim. Where you have a statutory right to a refund, you do not have to accept a replacement instead.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, misuse, a subsequent collision or faults elsewhere in the vehicle.
Items explicitly sold as non-functional or for parts only are not covered by this functional warranty. They must still match their description.
This warranty is additional to your statutory rights. Its expiry does not end any rights you may have concerning a fault present when the item was supplied.
Professional installation
Airbags, seat belt pretensioners and other restraint-system components must be handled and installed by a suitably qualified professional following the vehicle manufacturer’s procedures.
Before installation, the installer must confirm compatibility and whether the manufacturer permits the use of the supplied component, including any restrictions on used safety components.
Do not attempt to repair, modify or improvise testing of an airbag or pretensioner. If the item is damaged or its suitability is uncertain, do not install it; contact us.
Installation records and warranty claims
Please retain your installation invoice or job sheet. For a fault reported after installation, we may reasonably request your Justairbag order number, the installation date and installer’s contact details, the vehicle registration or VIN, an invoice or job sheet identifying the part and work completed, and relevant diagnostic findings and photographs where available.
An invoice from a VAT-registered garage is acceptable, but VAT registration is not our sole measure of professional competence. We may accept other verifiable records from a suitably qualified installer.
Home installation or missing paperwork may make an assessment more difficult, but will not automatically invalidate a statutory claim. Any decision concerning installation-related damage will be based on the available evidence.
