Understanding product condition

Unless a listing states otherwise, our parts are used and may show signs of previous use or removal.

Condition grades describe cosmetic appearance only. They do not certify an airbag’s safety performance, deployment capability or suitability for a particular vehicle.

Condition A*

Very good cosmetic condition, with little visible wear. Minor marks around mounting points or from removal may be present.

Condition A

Good cosmetic condition, with light scratches, surface marks or wear consistent with previous use.

Condition B

More noticeable cosmetic wear to trim or other non-safety surfaces, described in the listing. This grade does not classify damaged safety housings, connectors, mounting structures or internal components as acceptable for installation.

Condition C

Non-functional components offered for parts only, where lawful to supply. Known faults and the intended purpose must be stated. Do not install these items as functioning restraint-system components or use this grade to justify repair or reuse of a damaged pyrotechnic device.

Product details and checks

Please read the individual listing for the part number, supplied components, visible condition, deployment status where applicable, and any checks actually performed.

Any inspection or testing claim applies only to the checks expressly described. A visual inspection or an “undeployed” description does not by itself establish safety performance.

Accessories, multifunction controls, wiring, trim and fixings are included only where expressly stated.

Compatibility before ordering

Before purchasing, compare the listing with your existing part and have your installer confirm compatibility. Check the manufacturer part number and any approved replacement number; vehicle model, production year and relevant specification; connector type, mounting points and installation position; and any manufacturer requirements for replacement or configuration.

A similar appearance or matching vehicle model alone may not establish compatibility. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

We remain responsible for the accuracy of our descriptions and any specific compatibility advice we provide.

Checking your delivery

Check the item against your order before installation. If you find unexpected damage, a different part number or a discrepancy with the description, contact us before fitting it.

Do not install a damaged or suspect restraint-system component.

Restricted products

Some pyrotechnic products are subject to restrictions on who may purchase them and the form in which they may be supplied. Where these restrictions apply, we will confirm eligibility before accepting the order.
